To all club Mana Squash Club Members
The new online booking system will be live on January 1 2008. From
that time the only way you will be able to book a squash court is via the
online booking system.
You will be able to book courts from home, work, or the squash club
via the Internet. And once you book a court both you and your
opponent will be emailed a reminder of the date and times.
To enable this to happen you will need a User name, Password and an email
address to enable you to sign into the system and get reminder
emails.
Over the next couple of days you will be sent details of your User name
and Password to enable you to sign into the system to make bookings.
At that time we will also send you some basic instructions on
how to use the system – but if people from Tawa can use it .. then you can
understand it is pretty simple (they use the same system in their
club).
You can view the system by either clicking on the Mana Squash club web
site :
Or you can go directly to the booking system: (you will need to book mark
it)
We hope you will try the system before January 1. Any bookings made
prior to January 1 will be considered test (any disputes .. refer to the
sheets) – anything booked for January 1 and onwards is a live booking (the
sheets have been removed). We suggest over Christmas when you
are down at the club making a booking you fill in the sheet – and also the
online system for practice. This way you can see how easy it is to
make bookings. Normal club rules apply re making bookings.
If you have not received an email by Friday the 20th please contact Paul
Gadd via email at pmgi@xtra.co.nz and he will set one up for you –
and will then email you back your details.
We have used the latest list of ‘paid subscriptions’ to determine the Club
Members that need to be sent a User Name and Password. We appreciate
that some of you may be missing from the list (your cheque is still
in the post) – or as yet don’t have an email address in the system to
enable us to send you your details, so please contact Paul with your email
address so we can sort this out (before January 1 !!!). Also for
those of you with multiple family members that are paid club members,
(usually Junior members and casual members) there appears to be only one
email address for the family. Each member can have their own email
address and instructions will be sent on how you can maintain these
yourself. So please check that all family members have their own
User Name and Password or you may find yourself booked to play one of your
children’s friends!
Thanks
Paul Gadd
p.s. for those of you that may have worked out how to sign on I will be
resetting all passwords back to the default when I send out the
confirmation emails.
